Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
We hope you have had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! The MacBook has come and we are getting it figured out. We have set up an Apple ID, recorded using voice to text, and the kids are happy to show me what they already knew from working with Macs at St. Joseph's. I have some pictures to catch up on posting. We finished the Icons and are moving into the Celts with art history. In science we started studying bats and learned how many mosquitoes a colony of bats can eat in a year if there are 1,500 bats in the colony and they each eat 600 mosquitoes an hour for 10 hours a night.....I can't remember how many zeros there were but it was a shockingly large number! Over the break I have been looking for a grammar type program that might help the girls with their writing and came across Fix It from the Institute of Excellence in Writing.
